Aims & Scope

The Journal of Clinical Nursing Practice and Research is a peer-reviewed, international, open-access journal published by Acronym Publishers. The journal promotes equitable access to scientific knowledge by making research findings freely available, thereby supporting improved healthcare quality and population health outcomes.

The journal’s mission is to publish research that advances knowledge related to nursing, healthcare systems, and patient experiences. JCNPR embraces the World Health Organization’s definition of health as “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” This perspective aligns with the core values of the nursing profession.

The journal seeks high-quality scholarly work that examines health as a holistic phenomenon. This includes research on social and environmental determinants of health, development and implementation of best practices, healthcare innovation, policy implications, and evaluation of clinical interventions.

JCNPR encourages epistemological and methodological diversity in research submissions to foster inclusive, comprehensive, and forward-looking advancements in nursing and healthcare science.
