The Journal of Clinical Nursing Practice and Research (JCNPR) is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the dissemination of original research and scholarly reviews in the fields of clinical nursing, medical practice, healthcare systems, and health informatics. Scope of the Journal

The journal covers a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Healthcare information systems, including international registration systems, hospital information systems, departmental or physician office systems, document management systems, electronic medical records, standardization, and systems integration.
  • Computer-aided medical decision support systems utilizing heuristics, data structures, algorithms, statistical methods, decision theory, protocol development, artificial intelligence, and machine learning for knowledge discovery.
  • Educational computer-based programs related to medical informatics, nursing education, and healthcare training.
  • Organizational, economic, social, clinical, ethical, and cost-benefit aspects of information technology applications in healthcare.

Publication Frequency

The Journal of Clinical Nursing Practice and Research is published bimonthly (four volumes per year) by Acronym Publishers.

 

Types of Contributions

Regular Articles

Full-length original research papers presenting novel findings. Experimental procedures and methodologies must be described in sufficient detail to allow replication. Manuscripts should be concise yet comprehensive enough to clearly interpret the results.

Short Communications

Brief reports suitable for small but complete investigations, innovative methods, models, hypotheses, techniques, or new technological applications in healthcare and nursing.

Review Articles

Scholarly reviews and perspective papers addressing topics of current interest are welcome. Reviews should be concise and typically range between 4–6 printed pages (approximately 12–18 manuscript pages). All review articles are peer-reviewed.
