Cardiology is a journal for cardiologists caring for adult patients with heart disease. The papers that the journal aims to publish are aligned with the needs of this readership.
Clinical Cardiology does not publish papers related to pediatric populations, cardiac surgery, intensive care, hypertension, vascular disease, basic science, or translational medicine, unless ready for clinical implementation.
The journal will not consider highly technical or specialised topics that are of little interest to the general cardiologist.
Clinical Cardiology provides a fully Gold Open Access forum for the publication of original clinical research, as well as brief reviews of diagnostic and therapeutic issues in cardiovascular medicine and cardiovascular surgery.
